Talk about an exciting way to celebrate the end of 2009… the boys are in bed, the hubs is playing with his iPod touch, and I’m flipping channels between the VA Tech game & House Hunters. I’ve never really been one to stay up late on New Year’s Eve… I would much rather celebrate New Year’s Day with the Rose Parade, Jambalaya, football, and watching the HGTV Dream Home Special (maybe this year is my year to win).
As I’ve been pondering my goals for 2010, this blog has been top of my mind. The original intent was to focus on church communications (something I know quite a bit about). But as I’ve thought more about it, I’ve decided to change the focus of my writing for this blog… I will be discussing more of my daily craziness as a mom, daughter, and wife. Once I get into the habit of writing regularly, I will then start a church communications blog.
So, for my last post of 2009, my challenge is to take a moment to look back on the last year/decade. What are things to carry into 2010 and what are changes that need to be made? I’m spending time looking at some habits and patterns in my life that I will leave in 2009 and goals that will be my focus for 2010. Last year I chose 3 words as my goals for the year… something I will do again this year. Will write more about that later.
Not being one to like being late and since I’m sure is 2010 somewhere… Happy New Year! Here’s to a great 2010.
